The Bowling Green at Scotforth on the outskirts of the Queen's historical City of Lancaster, the home of the University of Lancaster and The University of Cumbria
The Bowling Green was rebuilt in 1982 on the original grounds of the old Bowling Green which would of been well over 100 years old.
The Bowling Green is much more than "just a pub", to the rear of the building we have a fantastic Crown Green Bowling Green, which is set in its own walled garden. The Bowling Green is available for hire, during the bowling season which runs from April to late October, the green is fully floodlit which allows us to run later into the year with the bowling.
The Bowling Green has superb catering facilities, not only do we serve Food 6 days a weeks we also have three function rooms that can be used for parties large and small. Being situated directly on the A6 and having use of a good sized car park we are able to cater for coach parties .
